Job Purpose: 

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for preparing and assembling wiring harnesses, DC-DC converters, controllers, power cables, bike displays, and other critical electrical components for fabricating battery cases, battery receivers, and mounts for conversion kits based on provided specifications. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

1.Wiring Harness Preparation 

  •  Assemble and test wiring harnesses for 12V and 48V systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards. 
  • Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks to guarantee optimal performance and reliability of all wiring systems. 

2. DC-DC Converter Installation: 

  • Install and configure DC-DC converters for effective voltage conversion and power management in electric motorcycles. 
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure converters operate efficiently under various operational conditions. 

3. Controller Setup: 

  •  Prepare, install, and integrate controllers with the motorcycle’s electrical systems to achieve seamless operation. 
  • Execute comprehensive testing to verify controller functionality and address any performance or compatibility issues. 

4. Power Cable Management:

  • Assemble and route power cables with precision, ensuring secure connections and reliable power distribution. 
  •  Inspect and test power cables for safety and performance, resolving any issues promptly to maintain system integrity. 

5. Bike Display Installation: 

  •  Install, calibrate, and test bike displays to accurately convey information such as battery levels, speed, and diagnostics to the rider. 
  • Address any display issues to ensure clear, accurate information is provided consistently.

6. Quality Assurance and Documentation: 

  • Conduct regular inspections and performance tests of electrical components to maintain high standards of quality and safety. 
  •  Document testing procedures and outcomes, providing detailed feedback for continuous improvement of electrical systems 

 

The Ideal Candidate: 

  • Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical assembly or maintenance, with a reference for experience in automotive or electric vehicle systems. 
  • Extensive knowledge of wiring systems, DC-DC converters, controllers, power cables, and bike displays. 
  • Proven ability to assemble, test, and troubleshoot electrical components, with a strong understanding of electrical safety standards. 
  • Demonstrated ability to execute tasks with high precision, ensuring all electrical components meet exact specifications and quality standards.
  • Skilled in using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
